Derrick Conti – Owner & President
Derrick has dedicated more than two decades to the swimming pool industry, building expertise in everything from maintenance and equipment repair to full-scale pool renovations. As a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and holder of both SPB and SP1 licenses, Derrick ensures that every project meets the highest safety and quality standards. Over the years, Derrick has gained deep insight into what pool owners truly value reliable service, clear communication, and attention to detail and he’s shaped Blue Water Pools of Connecticut around those principles.When he’s not leading the team, Derrick enjoys working on his BMW and exploring new restaurants with his wife, Nicole, and spending time with their children, Jayden, Angelina, and Addison along with their beloved dog, Barnaby.
Michael Grassi – General Manager
More than 15 years ago, after finishing electrical schooling, Mike entered the pool industry. Under the guidance of Derrick, during their time at a previous company, he quickly enhanced his set of skills. He demonstrates a strong commitment to prioritizing job excellence and ensuring customer satisfaction above all else. Mike joined the Blue Water Pools family in 2021. He has since become an invaluable member of the leadership team. In his spare time Mike enjoys the company of his fiancé Tori and his two sons, Jackson and Roman. Mike is passionate about German automobiles; he enjoys maintaining and driving his Porche.
David Lewis – Service Manager
David has spent the past 10 years in the swimming pool industry, developing a strong background in service, repairs, equipment, and day-to-day pool operations. As Service Manager, he helps keep our field team organized and our customers’ pools running properly, while bringing a practical, hands-on approach to solving problems. When he’s not working, David prefers to be outdoors. He enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his fiancée, Sherry, along with their dogs, Nova and Nero.
Brian Cassese – Office Manager
Brian joined Blue Water Pools of CT in 2022. Despite being a newcomer to the pool industry, he is seasoned in office operations and finances. Prior to joining our team, he managed financial records for multiple private businesses while working at a bookkeeping firm. In addition to being a important part of the leadership team, Brian has rapidly positioned himself as the primary source of information for billing inquires to our client base. He is now a vital component to our corporation. In his spare time, Brian cherishes spending quality time with his son Jayden. He also enjoys playing recreational sports.
Jenn Truhart – Warehouse Manager
Jenn joined Blue Water Pools of CT in 2024. She brings 15 years of experience in the pool and spa industry, inventory and customer service. Prior to joining our team, she managed multiple pool retail stores in Fairfield and North Haven. Jenn has quickly become a key part of the leadership team, Jenn is an important source of general information to our clients as well as any chemistry/water balancing questions our clients may have. She is now an essential member of our corporation. In her spare time, Jenn treasures spending quality time with her son Tyler.
Manny Robles – Renovation Operations Manager
Manny brings more than 35 years of experience in pool construction and renovation to Blue Water Pools of Connecticut. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive hands-on knowledge in all aspects of pool construction, renovations, repairs, and remodeling. His experience, attention to detail, and practical approach make him a valuable part of our team. Outside of work, Manny enjoys spending time with his wife, Debbie, and working on projects around his home. He enjoys staying busy, working with his hands, and taking on new projects whenever he gets the chance.
Gabriel McMahon – Renovation Division Manager
Gabriel has been in the swimming pool industry for over 10 years, building extensive experience in pool service, construction, renovations, and project management. His knowledge of the industry, attention to detail, and commitment to quality make him an important part of the Blue Water Pools of Connecticut leadership team. Outside of work, Gabriel enjoys spending time with his wife, Nikki, and their children, Olivia and Benjamin. Family is very important to him, and he enjoys spending as much of his free time with them as possible.
